Camps are currently FULL. Weekly summer camp sessions at Tower Hill Stables. Camp session available for ages 5 and up.
Horse Camp 2021 at Tower Hill Stables
The 4 hour program is from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Weekly camp sessions include:
- Around the Farm
- Meet the different animal residents of Tower Hill
- Assist in the care and feeding of the animals
- Get down and dirty while we clean their “room”
- Learn what it’s like to care for animals daily
- Classroom
- Barn & animal safety
- Different types of riding equipment
- Colors and anatomy
- Daily Horse Care
- Ground work – leading, pony showmanship, etc..
- Storing and caring for equipment
- Cleaning tack
- Daily Grooming and Tacking
- Lunch Time
- Riding – 45 minutes – 1 hour riding lesson. Build basic riding skills
along with obstacles, patterns and rigames on horseback (games
will be based on age and experience) - Daily games & crafts
- Games to include: Goat sorting, musical stalls, pony red
light/ green light, pony obstacle course, and more. - Crafts to include: Horseshoe decorating, collages and more.
- Special Weekly Events –
- Session 1 & 2: Duck/ Chicken Races!
- Session 3 & 4: Pony Decorating!
- Session 5 & 6: Bunny Jumping!
Please bring a sack lunch. Vending machines are available.
Riding helmets are required and can be provided by Tower Hill Stables.
Missed days can be made up by coming another day. No refunds.
