Summer Youth Basketball

Continue your favorite winter sport in summer! The Hampshire Township Park District is collaborating with the Dundee Township Park District and Huntley Park District to offer Pre-K through 8th grade summer basketball. The intention of this league is to help players continue their enjoyment of basketball in a recreational environment. Our format will be one practice and one game every week. In order to allow our T-ball families a chance to participate in both sports, our Bitty basketball program will practice on Tuesdays and have games on Thursdays. Our Small Shots(1st/2nd) will practice on Mondays and play games on Wednesdays. 3rd/4th grade will have one practice during the week (day depending on the head coach.) Games will be Saturday, but will not conflict with T-ball. 5th/6th and 7th/8th will also practice once a week(day depending on the head coach) and play a game on Saturdays.

Players should register for the grade level that they will be in for the start of the fall school year. No friend or coach requests will be guaranteed. 

Location

Gary D. Wright Gym. Some 3rd-8th grade teams may travel to Dundee or Huntley Park District depending on program numbers.

Start the week of 6/17 and ends 7/27 (6 games)

Uniform

Every registration will receive a t-shirt jersey that will be used for games. No purple/white reversible jersey will be used for the summer session of basketball.
