We are bringing in Do Art Productions for these exciting Spring Break Comic Book Workshops! First, we will go over and discuss what art is and just how wide its definition can be. After a fun and interactive discussion, we will go into the different language of comics, such as the different emotions of the eyes and mouth. Here we will also try and bring out our own spirit animal character. We do a portion of pose drawing, and as we all pose for each other to draw in stick figures, we then draw our own character over the frame. All of this is to rev up the creativity to generate a whole six panel comic together. We go over the different comic concepts like hero, plot, and conflict/resolution, using all the different portions of the workshop to see how they all come together.
