LITTLE PEOPLE PLAYTIME
PRESCHOOL
Little People Playtime is
a tuition-based preschool program offered by the
Hampshire Township Park District. The Facility at
441 East Jefferson Ave. is open on a regular class
schedule 8:30-2:30 daily September through May.
Regular classes are grouped into
LITTLE LEARNER
ages 3 by September 1st of the current school
year and PRE KINDERGARTEN ages 4 by
September 1 of the current school year. There are
special classes that open during the school year for
children whose ages do not fit these categories.
Very young children have classes in the evening
accompanied by a parent. New classes are always
ready to be added to meet the needs of the

September 2008
Little People Playtime
Preschool Program began the 2008-09 school year
September 2, 2008 with an Open House and parents
attending the first day of classes with their child.
Children two years of age to the year before
Kindergarten and parents are working together with
the preschool staff to build a strong foundation for
formal education.
Registration is continuous throughout the school
year.
New participants are always welcome.
Currently there is space in all of the
classes.
Mom/Pop/Tot Daytime
meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 to 10:00 for
children 2 years and an adult.
Mom/Pop/Tot Evening
sessions will begin Tuesday, October 7 6:30 to 7:30
p.m. for children 2 years and an adult.
The
Little Learner
classes for children ages 3 years on or before
September 1 of the current year meet either two
mornings or three mornings a week.
Pre Kindergarten
classes for children ages 4 years on or before
September 1 of the current year meet either three or
four mornings a week with one afternoon class.

October
October will be a
busy and exciting month for the children at Little
People Playtime with Halloween festivities, fall
projects, and fire safety activities.
There is even something for parents
on Friday, October 17 with a nutrition workshop
called
GOT DIRT.
